I am the legal age to babysit. That is actually the job I want at the moment. I even have training. Not only did I take a course, but I have 3 younger brothers. But because I moved I don't know anyone, and no one knows me. So my hope of being able to become a babysitter is kinda fading. But my hope will never diminish. Thats one thing that will never happen.
I think its good for teenagers to have a job. Not only does it put them out in the real world (even if its just a small part of it) and give you some stuff to put on your resumes, but teens are able to earn their own money without eating off of their parents.
I have 3 things coming up; Trip to Washington, D.C. with my aunt and her 7th grade class, Busch Gardens, and Band Camp. For souvenirs, food, and whatever else I might need money for, the estimated value of the total cost is $150. Now they trips and stuff I'm not paying for, my mom and aunt are paying for those. But they are spending their money for me to do the things. I need money to get anything extra, and I'm not going to bother asking for the money, because I don't like eating off of people if I don't have to. Even though I don't have a job, I'll find something.
I need at least $40 before April 25, and all I have is $16 (a 5, a 10, and another dollar in coins). I need to have at least $60 before May 10, and I need to have at least $50 before summer break.
I need a job, and soon.
